Ms. Jeya Sheila C S Kolpitchai

Ms. Jeya Sheila C S Kolpitchai (known as Sheila) was born in Klang in 1975 and was educated at Convent Primary School (1982-1987) and subsequently Sekolah Tengku Ampuan Jemaah, Port Klang (1988-1992). She completed her Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) high school certificate before pursuing a foundational programme at RIMA College, prior to undertaking a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom from which she graduated in 1999 with Second Class Honours.
She has also completed a Master’s degree in Counselling at the Open University of Malaysia in 2019 and is a certified Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) trainer, Social Return on Investment (SROI) practitioner, mental toughness coach, and Certified Human Resources specialist.
Sheila spent more than a decade within the corporate sector, where she initially specialised in marketing and sale for companies including Ayamas Sdn. Bhd. and NTP World Forum, before transitioning to training and learning roles with companies such as DiGi Telecommunications, VSource and Scicom Sdn. Bhd.
In 2011, Sheila left the corporate sector for the social sector when she joined the Youth Trust Foundation as Head of Capacity & Capability, serving there for twelve years between 2011 to 2023 where she worked closely with B40 communities and youths aged 16-40 to equip them with social entrepreneurship skills for the initiation of community projects and sustainable enterprises.
Sheila subsequently joined Leaderonomics Services Malaysia as an Associate Director where she led mobilization and operations, people alignment, processes and partnerships initiatives between 2023 and 2024.
Sheila joined the Malaysian Leprosy Relief Association in January 2026 as Project Lead, where she will be responsible for the rollout of programmes, stakeholder engagement and fundraising.
